Japan Today - News - Fans flock to autograph sessions - Japan's Leading International News NetworkFUKUOKA — Fans flocked to various autograph sessions in Tokyo and elsewhere Sunday, the second day of the first-ever strike by Japanese pro baseball players after talks with management over the realignment of ballclubs ended without an agreement Friday.

The two-day strike ended Sunday with tens of thousands of fans gathering in Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Sapporo and Nagoya with words of support for their baseball idols. The baseball players, in turn, thanked the fans for their support and vowed to do their best when they resume their games Monday. (Kyodo News
